Boom Festival<\/a>, this amazing gathering is taking place in Idanha-a-Nova, Portugal every 2 years and every time it takes place is in the same time with the summer full moon. What I find very interesting in this festival is that is proof that you can make it without paid sponsors and corporate colors overtaking our space.<\/p>

\"\"It is an independent event with no political affiliations and no sponsorships at all from \u201cthe system\u201d.<\/p>

Boom Festival started in 1997 and it is still going strong. It is a combination of alternative culture, creativity, interdependence and love. A place to experience new perspectives away from the heard mindset. <\/p>

The 2022 edition is called \"The Anthropocene\" it is the word to describe an era in human history that has deeply impacted Earth. A call to remember our connection to Earth and that we cannot go against it.<\/p>

This unique festival offers many experiences compressed into one week of different ways of viewing reality. You can see art installations that will leave you breathless, travel on unique organic psychedelic music, amazing nature scenery combined with a lot of spiritual journeys.<\/p>

The environment aspect of Boom Festival grew into the hearts of people and Boomland Project was born. With the land bought in 2016 a place for co-creation and respect of nature was reinforced for future generation to assimilate the new perspectives into the new society.\"\"

Accommodations<\/strong><\/p>

Boom Festival is considered a camping event and they offer you the possibility to stay in one of the Wanbli Tipi Tents or one of the cardboard tents in Cardboard Village. If you come with your own car or caravan you can find spacious parking equipped with everything you need.<\/p>

Tickets are around 200 euros and on their website<\/a> they say that 28.75 euro is the amount that you will pay per day when you roughly calculate your ticket price.\"\"
With a lot of yoga and meditations area, physical therapies and mental wellbeing all in the great outdoors of Portugal at a very low price, Boom Festival manages to remain independent and offering new ways to look at ourselves changing everyday the rusty mentality.<\/p>
